Overview

What is Osteoarthritis?

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a degenerative joint disease characterized by progressive breakdown of articular cartilage — the smooth cushion covering joint ends. This leads to bone-on-bone friction, pain, stiffness, and gradual loss of joint function. Knees, hips, and spine are most commonly affected.

Scope

Conditions Treated

We offer targeted therapies for a wide spectrum of related autoimmune and inflammatory conditions to ensure comprehensive relief.

  • 01Primary knee and hip Osteoarthritis
  • 02Hand and finger (interphalangeal) Osteoarthritis
  • 03Spinal Osteoarthritis and Spondylosis
  • 04Post-traumatic Osteoarthritis after injury or fracture
  • 05Early OA where joint preservation can prevent surgery
Eligibility

Who May Need This?

1

Patients with deep aching knee or hip pain worsening with movement

2

Individuals above 45 with morning stiffness lasting less than 30 minutes

3

Those told to undergo knee replacement surgery but wishing to avoid it

4

Patients with obesity-related joint overloading

5

Individuals with Kellgren-Lawrence grade II-III Osteoarthritis on X-ray

Mechanism

How Does It Work?

We begin with precise joint assessment using musculoskeletal ultrasound to evaluate cartilage thickness, joint effusion, and inflammation. Non-surgical interventions include Viscosupplementation (intra-articular hyaluronic acid) to restore joint lubrication, PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) injections to stimulate cartilage repair, and targeted physiotherapy for muscle strengthening around the joint.
